What Does the Future Hold?

Today at Blackstone Church of Christ, we explored the topic of the future, grounded in the wisdom of James 4:13-15. The message reminded us that we are living in the last days (Acts 2:14-17, 1 Peter 1:18-21, Hebrews 1:1-2), and that Jesus Christ will return on the last day (Acts 1:1-11, 1 Thessalonians 4:16).

As we look ahead, we are reassured by the words of Jesus in John 14:1-6, where He promises that He is preparing a place for us. We can know where we will spend eternity by aligning our lives with God's will and being prepared for the future. 

The call to action was clear: become a Christian through water baptism, stay faithful, and remain ready. Don't wait to prepare yourself—today is the day to take the next step in your spiritual journey.
